Templat ini digunakan untuk menyatakan petikan sumber dalam Wikipedia dan digunakan khususnya untuk sumber berita.
Kegunaan
Kesemua nama parameter mestilah dalam huruf kecil.
Gunakan salinan kosong. Jangan lupa meletakkan aksara "|" (paip) di antara setiap ruangan. Hapuskan mana-mana ruangan yang tidak digunakan bagi mengelakkan keserabutan dalam tetingkap sunting.

- title (tajuk) diwajibkan, yang selebihnya adalah sebaliknya. Ingat bahawa tajuk mesti ditaip dalam satu baris sahaja agar hiperrangkai dipaparkan dengan betul. Jangan sertakan tanda petikan, huruf condong atau apa-apa pemformatan lain.
- author: Pengarang.
- last boleh digunakan bersama first untuk menghasilkan
last, first - authorlink boleh digunakan bersama author atau dengan last & first untuk memautkan rencana Wikipedia yang bersesuaian. Tidak boleh digunakan dengan URL.
- coauthors: Membenarkan pengarang tambahan.

- url: Memautkan bahan berita jika terdapat dalam talian (ambil perhatian bahawa penggunaan ini bukan untuk pautan ke tapak web utama karya penerbit, sebaliknya untuk pautan ke salinan bahan yang dinyatakan dalam "title").
- format: Format, cth. PDF. Jangan nyatakan jika HTML (yang dianggap secara lalai).
- Tetapkan sebagai 'bayaran diperlukan' jika capaian percuma tidak lagi boleh didapati.
- Tetapkan sebagai 'Cetakan Semula' jika versi asal yang penuh digunakan tetapi tidak dihoskan oleh penerbit asal.
- format: Format, cth. PDF. Jangan nyatakan jika HTML (yang dianggap secara lalai).
- work: Seperti ruang, subruang isu atau karya berbilang bahagian seperti tajuk majalah. Jangan condongkan.
- publisher: Syarikat atau pertubuhan yang menerbitkan sumber berita.
- id: Pengecam seperti
{{ISSN|0028-0836}}— ingat, jika parameter ini digunakan, anda mesti menyatakan jenis pengecam, bukan sekadar memberi nombor. - date: Tarikh penerbitan. Format TTTT-BB-HH ISO 8601 disarankan. Jika keseluruhan tarikh diketahui, sepatutnya diwikipautkan untuk membolehkan keutamaan pengguna tarikh.
- page atau pages: Halaman(-halaman) mana yang didapati rencana tersebut. page meletakkan singkatan "p." sebelum nombor; pages meletakkan pula "pp." Gunakan salah satu parameter sahaja. Jika nombor dimasukkan ke dalam kedua-duanya, pages mengatasi page.
- accessdate: Tarikh bahan dicapai. Gunakan format TTTT-BB-HH ISO 8601. Janga wikipaut tarikh.
- language: Bahasa penulisan bahan. Jika bahasa Melayu (lalai), jangan gunakan parameter ini.
- quote: Petikan yang berkaitan.
- archiveurl: URL lokasi arkib bahan tersebut (memerlukan archivedate); parameter ini adalah untuk arkib seperti yang disimpan di internetarchive.org; bagi keluaran kebelakangan dan yang serupa dengannya yang ada dalam fail di tapak penerbit, gunakan parameter "url".
- archivedate: Tarikh pengarkiban bahan (memerlukan archiveurl), dalam format TTTT-BB-HH ISO 8601, cth. 2006-02-17. Jangan diwikipautkan; tarikh akan dipautkan secara sendiri.
