Presiden Republik Rakyat Bangladesh (Bengali: বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি - Bangladesher Raṣhṭrôpôti) adalah ketua negara Bangladesh.
Peranan presiden telah berubah tiga kali sejak Bangladesh mencapai kemerdekaan pada tahun 1971. Pada tahun 1991, dengan pemulihan kerajaan yang dipilih secara demokrasi, Bangladesh mengamalkan demokrasi berparlimen. kini Presiden adalah jawatan istiadat dipilih oleh parlimen.[1]
Pada tahun 1996, Parlimen meluluskan undang-undang baru meningkatkan kuasa eksekutif Presiden, seperti yang ditetapkan dalam Perlembagaan, selepas Parlimen larut. Presiden tinggal di Istana Bangabhaban, yang merupakan pejabat dan tempat kediamannya. Presiden dipilih oleh 300 ahli-ahli parlimen di undi terbuka, dan dengan itu secara umumnya mewakili parti majoriti badan perundangan. Beliau terus memegang jawatan itu selepas tempoh lima tahun tamat sehingga pengganti dipilih untuk jawatan presiden.[2][3][4][2]
Kuasa
Pada masa ini, walaupun jawatan Presiden memegang kepentingan de jure, kuasa de facto beliau merupakan sebahagian besar majlis. Perlembagaan membenarkan Presiden untuk bertindak atas nasihat Perdana Menteri dan Kabinet beliau.
