Dengan kajian mekanik statistik of sinaran jasad hitam membawa kepada perkembangan teori mekanik kuantum, usaha memahami mekanik statistik lohong hitam berimpak mendalam atas memahami graviti kuantum, membawa kepada perumusan prinsip holograf.[2]
